Kamusta! I am Charmaine, your SEA-Student Teacher Exchange from the Philippines!


Pauline Peace to y'all! I am, by the way, Charmaine Joyce Esperanza Almenie and you can call me Charm or Joy for short. I am 20 years old and i came from the beautiful island of Siargao. I am currently studying at Saint Paul University Surigao, in Surigao City taking up Bachelor of Physical Education Major in School P.E. 

 I  am a SEA - Student teacher exchange from the Philippines and was assigned to practice in SMP 3 Paaundan, in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.
My host school is Universitas Pasundan (UNPAS).

My hobbies include singing, dancing, ,playing the ukulele, piano and guitar and a little bit of watercolor painting. All of these things and gifts i possess were all given to me by our loving God and I couldn't be more grateful for His greatness!

Day 5 Thursday, August 9, 2018 Chapter 3 – HOW TO UNDERSTAND INDONESIAN CLASSES OBSERVATION DAY 3 A new day has come. We were again introduced to Mr. Agus’ grade 9 class. We’ve never been to one of his classes before and so there goes another getting to know each other stage. Lots of photo ops and selfies happened. And I’ve noticed that their uniforms are cute! ❖❖❖ At 10:00 am, I was at Mr. Dede’s PE Class. He is also a PE teacher. Unfortunately, he can’t speak English therefore; I need to adjust with the situation. I need to recall the bahasa Indonesian words I’ve researched. As I was taking down notes about how his classroom routine and management works, I tried to stop writing for a moment and I can’t believe that I was able to understand his topic though he was speaking his native language.
