Aug. 18 LEARNING THE TRADITIONAL MUSIC INTRUMENT OF INDONESIA It’s cultural visit day; my favorite day! This time, we went to Angklung saung Udjo. We watched the famous puppet of Indonesia named WAYANG GOLEK. The Wayang Golek puppet show is composed of puppets with different characteristics and facial expressions, Gamelan ensemble (the traditional music instruments) which serves as the background music for the puppet’s dramatic play, and of course, the puppet masters; Kudos to the puppet masters behind the entertaining puppet show! They were so professional in controlling the puppets. Puppets MASK DANCE (This was a bit shocking for us because we didn't expect that she would reveal a wayang mask, we thought that she was just covering her face with a hankerchief but when she threw the cloth and revealed the face of WAYANG, we were amazed.)
