Aug. 22-23 MUSLIM DAY and ASIAN GAMES 2018! Wednesday was the celebration of their muslim day which they would sacrifice a cow and throw a barbeque party in the evening. Since it’s a holiday, we went out of Bandung City and celebrated muslim day in Purwakarta, we went there by train and look how aesthetic their station is!   We stayed at one of our Indonesian friend’s house and I couldn’t thank them enough for their hospitality! For two days we were free in foods and accommodation, they also accompanied us to the center of Purwa to watch ASIAN GAMES! We were lucky enough to witness the cycling competition held in Purwakarta, can’t help but scream and cheer for my beloved Philippines! We were also interviewed by an Indonesian TV Journalist about our opinion towards ASIAN Games.  The Foods! Everything was for free! God bless you, Iiklima and Family! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, INDONESIA! Aug. 17 is the INDONESIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY; we attended the flag raising ceremony in front of Gedung Sate, The Governor’s office at 10 am in the morning. We learned how the Indonesians value that day; they celebrate it with parades, a lot of games, contests, and festivals in commemoration of their Independence from the Dutch colony in 1945.
