Day 5 Thursday, August 9, 2018 Chapter 3 – HOW TO UNDERSTAND INDONESIAN CLASSES OBSERVATION DAY 3 A new day has come. We were again introduced to Mr. Agus’ grade 9 class. We’ve never been to one of his classes before and so there goes another getting to know each other stage. Lots of photo ops and selfies happened. And I’ve noticed that their uniforms are cute! ❖❖❖ At 10:00 am, I was at Mr. Dede’s PE Class. He is also a PE teacher. Unfortunately, he can’t speak English therefore; I need to adjust with the situation. I need to recall the bahasa Indonesian words I’ve researched. As I was taking down notes about how his classroom routine and management works, I tried to stop writing for a moment and I can’t believe that I was able to understand his topic though he was speaking his native language. DAY 4 Chapter 2 – SEA zzz the day! Wednesday, August 8, 2018  2nd Day of my SEA STUDENT TEACHER JOURNEY It’s the same old morning routine with the 16 degrees celsius temperature and the verrrry cold wateeeer. 9:00 am.   HATUR NUHUN! (thank you in Sundanese), Pa Ujang! for always driving us from UNIVERSITAS PASUNDAN IV, Setiabudhi (ladies dorm) to PASUNDAN III and vice versa every day. ♡ ♡ ♡ As we arrived in SMP 3 junior high, Marc and I went straight to Mr. Cheche’s PE class to observe. On the picture shown above, they were doing warm ups and foot works on their quadrangle to give them a boost for the whole duration of the lesson. ♡ ♡ ♡ At 10:00 am in the morning, I went to observe Mr. Ahmad’s Culture and Arts class. Their topic was about techniques in drawing figures. They draw flowers, duck and etc. In Mr. Ahmad’s class, they used an overhead projector so that the lessons are clear for everyone. DAY 3 Chapter 1: of MY SEA- STUDENT TEACHER JOURNEY SMP Pasundan 3 Bandung Tuesday, August 7 \ 1 st TEACHING OBSERVATION of a SEA STUDENT TEACHER Wardrobe prepared ☑ Ice bucket challenge (took a cold bath)☑ Teeth brushed☑ Morning routine☑ All Checked! 9:00 am Pa Ujang picked us up. ✎✎✎ SMP Pasundan 3 We first met Ms. Nofi, Mr. Dadang (wearing gray), Mr. Cheche, Mr. Dede, Dr. Cartono , Dr. Yusuf(wearing blue), Ms. Suchi and the other faculty members of Pasundan Junior High. They introduced us to our coordinating teachers and we talked about our lesson plans. They said we could use the format we have back in our country. We were comfortable in interacting with the faculty members. They were so hospitable and they never failed to let us feel at home.
